Suzy Lamplugh Trust

Design and front-end build for the UK's pioneering personal safety charity, established in 1986 following the disappearance of Suzy Lamplugh.

Whilst contracting for the charity website and fundraising platform, Raising IT (since acquired by The Access Group), I designed and built a website for the Suzy Lamplugh Trust on the platform.

My responsibility was to take the project from the strategic planning phase through to a front-end build on top of the Raising IT platform. This included designing the website from scratch - all delivered within a two week sprint.

One of the challenges with this project was that the charity wanted to move away from their existing look and feel and develop a somewhat fresh brand identity. Working closely with the client in a fast paced agile way meant that we were able to produce a visual style for the site within an extremely tight timeframe.

The nature of the organisation also meant that we had to put a special focus on urgent calls to action - such as providing clear directions for their National Stalking Helpline as well as allowing users to quickly exit the site if they need to.
