Deafinitely Theatre

Design and front-end build for the first deaf led theatre company in the UK producing bilingual theatre in british sign language and spoken English.

Whilst contracting for the charity website and fundraising platform, Raising IT (since acquired by The Access Group), I designed and built a website for Theatre Deli on the platform.

The design and build was turned around within a single two week sprint.

Accessibility obviously played a huge part of the build here, and whilst my hands were tied somewhat but the underlying core application, there were still lots of accessibility features that I was able to implement.

It was also great to work with a team which included stakeholders who were deaf and non-verbal. I'm really proud of the way that we were able to be inclusive in the delivery of this project.
